MEDIA ADVISORY

Traffic to be Temporarily Delayed to Allow Vietnam War Memorial Wall Across Hoover Dam

Motorists planning to drive across Hoover Dam on Tuesday morning, Nov. 4, should anticipate a delay from approximately 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.

At about 10 a.m., the Hoover Dam Police Department will stop traffic to escort a traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall across the dam.

The event was organized by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, which expects 400-600 motorcycles and other vehicles to accompany the replica across the dam.

The ¾ scale replica of the memorial is being transported from Arizona to Nevada for display at the Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Nov. 6-9.
