Minor Construction Project Planned for Indian Road Campground

A minor construction project is scheduled for the Bureau of Reclamation Indian Road Campground at the south end of Canyon Ferry Reservoir near Townsend, Mont.

The project is scheduled to begin on October 29, and is anticipated to take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete. The project will involve the rebuilding of the aggregate walkway around the fishing ponds at the campground. The purpose of the project is to improve the walkway to provide universal accessibility.

The campground will remain open during construction, but access to the fishing ponds will be restricted. The contractor performing the project will be C STAR Joint Venture from Billings, Mont. For more specific information, please contact Shawn Bryant at 406-475-3922.
