The Bighorn River System Issues Group will meet on Thursday, October 9, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Montana State University Billings downtown location at 2804 3rd Avenue North. This group, which is comprised of various Federal and state agencies, and customers and stakeholders from both Wyoming and Montana, was formed in March 2007 to help find an appropriate balance of Yellowtail Unit benefits, while recognizing the respective agencies' commitments to authorized project purposes, legal obligations, contemporary needs, and public expectations.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Reclamation will host the fall Yellowtail Operations meeting at the same location. The 2009 water supply outlook will be presented and comments will be solicited on proposed reservoir operations for the fall and winter. The public is invited to attend both meetings.
