Reclamation Announces Fresno County Service Area Boundary Change to Include a new Housing Tract

The Bureau of Reclamation announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for public review for approval of the County of Fresno's Central Valley Project (CVP) service area boundary change. The service area would be expanded to allow municipal and industrial CVP water supplies to be served to subdivision tract 4870 near Millerton Reservoir in Fresno County. Tract 4870 includes the construction of 161 homes that will use approximately 88 acre-feet of CVP supplies annually.

The Draft EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available for a 30-day public review and comment period.
