Bureau of Reclamation Announces Public Meetings on Proposed Rule

The Bureau of Reclamation is hosting two public meetings in Montana to discuss the provisions of a revised proposed rule on the use of Reclamation Land, Facilities, and Waterbodies (43 CFR Part 429). Comments on the revised proposed rule, which was published in the Federal Register on July 18, are being accepted for a 60-day period which ends on September 16. Information on the public meetings follows:
- Malta, Montana; Wednesday, August 20; 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tin Cup, Marian Hills Golf Course
- Helena, Montana; Thursday, August 21; 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the second floor conference room, Helena Regional Airport
The revised proposed rule can be viewed at http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-16496.pdf. Comments may be submitted by:
- Utilizing the Federal rulemaking website at http://regulations.gov and following the instructions.
- Mailing them to: Bureau of Reclamation
