Additional delivery orders are anticipated to be issued twice yearly for repairs to other units. Work will begin in September.

Grand Coulee Dam was completed in 1942 and today serves as a multipurpose facility providing water for irrigation, recreation, fish and wildlife, hydroelectric power production, and flood control.

The dam is located on the Columbia River adjacent to the City of Coulee Dam, Wash., approximately 90 miles west of Spokane, Wash.
