The Bureau of Reclamation announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Partial Assignment of Central Valley Project (CVP) Contract and Associated Water Supply from Ivanhoe Irrigation District (IID) to Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District (District).

Reclamation proposes to approve the partial assignment of IID's Friant Division CVP water service contract and associated water supply to the District. The proposed action would assign 1,200 acre-feet per year of IID's Class I water, and 7,400 acre-feet per year of Class II water to the District. Approval of the partial contract assignment would include changing the intended service area of this Friant Division CVP water from the IID service area to include the District service area.

A copy of the proposed assignment agreement and attachment is available from Ms. Barbara Hidleburg, Contract Repayment Specialist, at 559-487-5063, TDD 559-487-5933, fax 559-487-5397, or e-mail bhidleburg@mp.usbr.gov.
