Reclamation Schedules Additional Negotiation Sessions for a Water Storage Contract with Truckee Meadows Water Authority

The Bureau of Reclamation will conduct additional negotiations for a storage contract with the Truckee Meadows Water Authority. Under the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA) and Section 205(a)(6) of the Truckee-Carson-Pyramid Lake Water Rights Settlement Act of 1990, Title II of Public Law 101-618, Reclamation is authorized to enter into contracts for the use of space in Truckee River reservoirs. Contracts must be consistent with terms and conditions defined in TROA.

The negotiations are scheduled as follows:

Reno, Nevada Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008, at 9 a.m. Sierra Pacific Building Woodburn and Wedge, Suite 500 6100 Neil Road
