Reclamation Announces a Public Negotiation Session for a Partial Contract Assignment from Ivanhoe Irrigation District to Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District

The Bureau of Reclamation will hold a negotiation session with representatives from Ivanhoe Irrigation District (IID) on Monday, May 5, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Reclamations South-Central California Area Office in Fresno, CA, to negotiate terms and conditions of a partial contract assignment to the Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District (District)

The partial assignment will consist of 1,200 acre-feet of Class 1 water and 7,400 acre-feet of Class 2 water supplies per year from IIDs Central Valley Project long-term water service contract. This contract assignment is an integral part of a long-term resource exchange program between IID and the District to improve the dry year reliability of IIDs surface water supplies and will incorporate the terms and conditions of the existing IID long-term renewal contract.
