Reclamation Cancels Negotiation Session for Water Storage Contract with Truckee Meadows Water Authority

The Bureau of Reclamation has cancelled the March 28, 2008, negotiation for a storage contract with the Truckee Meadows Water Authority.  April sessions will be scheduled; please look for notifications about dates, times, and locations.  The public is welcome to observe the negotiations.

Under the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA) and Section 205(a)(6) of the Truckee-Carson-Pyramid Lake Water Rights Settlement Act of 1990, Title II of Public Law 101-618, Reclamation is authorized to enter into contracts for the use of space in Truckee River reservoirs.  Contracts must be consistent with terms and conditions defined in TROA.
