Two-Year Interim Renewal Central Valley Project Water Service Contracts Available for Public Review and Comment

The Bureau of Reclamation and 17 Central Valley Project (CVP) contractors will be executing 2-year interim renewal contracts effective Saturday, March 1, 2008, to extend the term of the existing interim renewal contracts that expire on Friday, February 29, 2008.

The draft forms of contracts are available for a 60-day public review and comment period and are available on-line at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/cvpia/3404c/lt_contracts/2008_int_cts/index.html.

The 17 CVP contractors affected by renewal contracts include: County of Tulare, County of Fresno, Hills Valley Water District, Kern Tulare Water District, Rag Gulch Water District, Pixley Irrigation District, Tri-Valley Water District, Lower Tule River Irrigation District, City of Tracy (2 contracts), Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency, Santa Clara Valley Water District, Westlands Water District Distribution District 1, Westlands Water District Distribution District 1 (3 contracts), and Westlands Water District Distribution District 2 (1 contract).
