Reclamation Accepts Sealed Bids to Trap Muskrats in the Klamath Basin

The Bureau of Reclamation announced today that sealed bids will be accepted from contractors to trap and remove muskrats from the following public land areas:  Lost River Diversion Channel, Wilson Reservoir, Poe Valley and Langell Valley Improvement Channel(s), and Agency Lake Ranch.

The growing muskrat population and their increasing number of tunnels burrowed into levees and dikes, has increased maintenance for the Project. 

The sealed bids will be opened at the Bureau of Reclamation's, Klamath Basin Area Office, located at 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, Oregon, on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 10 a.m.  This process is open to the public.
