2007-2008 Winter Closures Scheduled for New Melones Lake Area

The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled seasonal winter closures starting Monday, October 1, 2007, through Monday, March 31, 2008. 

The closures will take place at the following locations in the Tuttletown Recreation Area

    • Heron Point Day Use Area
    • Oak Knoll Group Camp
    • Manzanita Campground sites 70-125
    • Chamise Campground sites 126-161

The closures will take place at the following locations in the Glory Hole Recreation Area

    • Osprey Point Day Use Area
    • Buck Brush Day Use Area
    • Big Oak Campground
    • Ironhorse Campground sites 45-59 and 80-89
