Negotiation Session Scheduled for Proposed Interim Water Service Contracts for San Luis Unit Contractors - Central Valley Project

The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled interim water service contract negotiations with seven San Luis Unit Contractors.  Reclamation will hold a session with the San Luis Unit contractors to negotiate contracts for the delivery of up to 1,385,590 acre-feet of water from the Central Valley Project (CVP).  The proposed term of the interim contracts is 14 months.

The contractors:  Cities of Avenal, Huron, and Coalinga; California Department of Fish and Game; Panoche, San Luis, and Westlands Water Districts, have been receiving CVP water under long-term water service contracts which are expiring in 2007 and 2008.
