Public Comments Sought for the Preparation of the Box Butte Reservoir Resource Management Plan (RMP)

The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking public comments for consideration in developing the Box Butte Reservoir Resource Management Plan (RMP). Reclamation is preparing the management plan which will include discussion on the development and implementation of possible plans for land use and the development and protection of natural, cultural, and recreational resources at Box Butte Reservoir in northwestern Nebraska. Please provide any comments or suggestions you have concerning the past, present, and future resource management at Box Butte Reservoir for consideration in developing the RMP. The comment period will close on Monday, April 9, 2007.

Following the comment period and in consideration of input from the public and resource agencies, the draft RMP will be prepared and available for public review.
