Bid Opening Announced for Klamath Project Lease Lands

The Bureau of Reclamation announces that sealed bids for agricultural leasing of 19 parcels of Federal lease lands, totaling 3,595 acres, will be received until 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2007, at the Klamath Basin Area Office.  A public bid opening will be held at the office at 10 a.m. that day. 

Open for bid on the Tule Lake Federal lease lands in California are:  Sump 2  4 lots, Sump 3  8 lots with 3 available for organic farming.  There are no lots available in Area K.

Bidding instructions, lease information, a sample copy of the lease contract, location maps, and bid forms that must be used in submitting bids are available at the Klamath Basin Area Office, 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, Oregon, and at the Tulelake Irrigation District, 2717 Havlina Road, Tulelake, California.
