Delta Cross Channel Gates to be Temporarily Closed to Protect Out-migrating Winter and Spring Salmon Run

The Bureau of Reclamation announces that effective Friday, December 15, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. the Delta Cross Channel Gates will be closed to protect out-migrating winter run and spring run salmon. Gates will remain closed until further notice. Boat traffic will be unable to pass through the Delta Cross Channel Gates; therefore, boaters should plan on using alternate travel routes.
