The Hoover Dam visitor center and parking garage are open and have resumed normal operations today.

The visitor center opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. Tours of the dam's powerplant begin about 9:20 a.m. and run approximately every 15 minutes thereafter until 4:15 p.m.

Bureau of Reclamation officials reopened these facilities after the Federal Highway Administration (FWHA) cleared Highway 93 for vehicle access across the dam. The site had been closed to vehicles since last Friday afternoon due to the collapse of crane towers at the Hoover Dam Bypass construction site.
