Historic Agreement Ends Years of Litigation and Uncertainty Over the Future of the River and Thousands of Central Valley Farms
WHO:
The Bureau of Reclamation, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Friant Water Users Authority
WHAT:
Will hold a press conference to announce an agreement that will restore a 153-mile stretch of the San Joaquin River in California’s Central Valley. Restoring the San Joaquin River will be one of the largest river restoration projects in the nation’s history.
