Prospectus for Kim's Marina Concession Operations at Canyon Ferry Now Available

The Bureau of Reclamation announced today that the Prospectus for the Kim's Marina concession operation at Canyon Ferry Reservoir near Helena, Montana is now available.

The Prospectus outlines the commercial services a concessionaire is required to provide for a twenty-year term concession contract and the pertinent business plan information needed along with supporting documents for submitting a bid to Reclamation by September 18, 2006.

Reclamation completed the Canyon Ferry Commercial Services Plan and Financial Feasibility Analysis in December 2004. Public input received through the commercial services planning process was considered in formulation of the Kims Marina Prospectus.

Dan Jewell, Reclamation's Montana Area Manager, stated "Reclamation recognizes the importance of Canyon Ferry to the recreating public and we realize the value of the services provided by viable concession operations in meeting the recreating public's needs and expectations."
