Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center Closes for Season

The Bureau of Reclamation is announcing new hours of operation at its Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center in preparation for the end of the summer tourist season, according to Facility Manager, Ralph Carter.

The Visitor Center is open 7 days a week from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., but will close for the season on August 27.

Hungry Horse dam is located off Highway 2 in Hungry Horse, Montana. Turn right up the hill past the Hungry Horse/Glacier View Forest Service building and travel approximately 4 ½ miles to the Visitor Center located at the North end of the dam's crest.

Parking is allowed only in designated areas and not on top of the dam roadway.
