Reclamation Releases Draft Environmental Documents on Restoring Tidal Marsh Habitat in Suisun Marsh

The Bureau of Reclamation has made available for public review and comment the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Blacklock Restoration Project in the Suisun Marsh, Solano County. Reclamation proposes to contribute funds to the California Department of Water Resources toward restoring tidal wetland ecosystems to the 70-acre Blacklock site in Suisun Marsh. Restoration of tidal wetland ecosystems is expected to aid in the recovery of several listed and special status species within the marsh.

The Draft EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available for a 30-day public review and comment period.
