Shoshone Canyon Rock Stabilization Project

The Wyoming Area Office of the Bureau of Reclamation in Mills, Wyoming, has initiated work to stabilize an area of rock in the Shoshone Canyon along Hayden Arch Road, approximately 2,000 feet downstream from Buffalo Bill Dam according to John H. Lawson, Wyoming Area Manager.

Pedestrian access along Hayden Arch Road through the construction area will be prohibited while work is underway. The work, which is being performed under contract by Moltz Constructors, Inc., of Cody, Wyoming, consists of rock scaling, removal, and bolting. The anticipated construction completion date is September 15, 2006.
