Reclamation Announces Rehabilitation Project at Canyon Ferry Court Sheriff Campground

The Bureau of Reclamation Court Sheriff Campground at Canyon Ferry Reservoir is currently undergoing a rehabilitation project which includes roadway and campsite layout, earthwork, paving and chip sealing roadways and campsites, and placing pavement markings. Camping and public use at Court Sheriff will be limited to Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning Memorial Day weekend, Friday, May 26, 2006. Rehabilitation is expected to be complete by June 20, 2006, at which time Court Sheriff will be available for public use seven days per week.

All other Reclamation campgrounds will be open and available for public use. Overnight camping fees will begin May 12, 2006.
