Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center Closes For Season

The Hungry Horse Field Office announces the closing of the Visitor Center for the 2004 summer tourist season, according to Facility Manager, Ralph Carter. The last date for tours will be August 27.

Hungry Horse Dam is located off Highway 2 in Hungry Horse, Montana. If traveling East through Columbia Falls, watch for signs on East side of Hungry Horse, top of hill, past Forest Service. Turn right and travel approximately 4.5 miles to the Visitor Center which is located at the north end of the dam's crest.

Parking is allowed only in designated areas and not on top of the dam roadway.
