For Release: April 03, 2006
Due to the strong weather system and continued wet conditions, the Bureau of Reclamation will increase flood control releases at Nimbus, Keswick, and Friant Dams, effective, April 3, 2006. The northern Sierra precipitation is over 160 percent of average for this date and the snowpack-water content is over 130 percent of average.
