SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service today announced a funding opportunity for the Central Valley Project Conservation Program and Central Valley Project Improvement Act Habitat Restoration Program for grants in fiscal years 2025 and 2026.

The funding opportunity provides non-federal parties an opportunity to apply for awards up to $1 million for projects benefitting federally listed endangered and threatened species whose habitat and population have been impacted by project operations. A total of approximately $4.8 million is available for the two years combined, expected to result in seven to 10 awards.

View the funding opportunity at grants.gov. and search by keywords – e.g., Central Valley Project Conservation Program, Central Valley Project Improvement Act Habitat Restoration Program or opportunity number R25AS00005. Applications will be selected through a competitive process focused on achieving the outcomes identified in the notice of funding opportunity.
