SACRAMENTO, Calif. - On Dec. 6, between 9:30 a.m. and noon, Reclamation, in partnership with the University of Washington, is hosting an in-person and online workshop for the Central Valley Prediction & Assessment of Salmon.
Known as SacPAS, it is a publicly accessible, web-based query and reporting system of historical/current fish, environmental, and hydrologic information, vital to year-round planning and adaptive management of the Central Valley Project and State Water Project.
The goals and objectives of the workshop are to provide stakeholders greater awareness of SacPAS tools, streamline data management processes, refine tools with better understanding of needs and receive requests for new tools to be developed. The public is welcome to attend the workshop, which will be followed by an open discussion.
The workshop will be held in the Federal Building Cafeteria Conference Room 1 at 2800 Cottage Way, Sacramento. Registration is preferred to attend the workshop. Register at: https://forms.gle/txKcpbTzjBeL7JhT7. Registration closes at the end of the day Dec. 4.
