BEND, Ore. – The Bureau of Reclamation is hosting an informational meeting for the public regarding a safety of dams project at Scoggins Dam on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. PST, at the Forest Grove Community Auditorium, located at 1915 Main Street Forest Grove.
Officials from Reclamation and the Washington County Emergency Management Office will provide information to communities near Scoggins Dam.
Information on the following will be discussed:
- Reclamation’s Safety of Dams program
- Scoggins Dam project
- Proposed design and schedule
- County response and community preparedness
*In the event of a federal government lapse in appropriations, this meeting will be cancelled.
