BOULDER CITY, NEVADA – The Bureau of Reclamation announced today that it is reopening tours of Hoover Dam at 50% capacity. Until further notice, a limited number of tickets will be sold each day for Powerplant Tours, Dam Tours, and Visitor Center Exhibits. All tickets will be sold in the Visitor Center on a first-come, first-serve basis. When purchasing tickets for a group, everyone in the group must be present at the time of purchase. The health and safety of the public and the personnel working at Hoover Dam remains Reclamation’s number one priority. Based on guidance received from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state and local officials, Hoover Dam will continue to adapt to changing conditions.
In addition to the tours, visitors are permitted to drive across the top of dam, park in the parking garage and other designated parking areas and walk on the top of the dam. The café and main gift shop are now open. Additionally, visitors can access the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge Plaza and walkway, as well as the Historic Railroad Trail access point.
